- Sartaaj Bhullar (The Hockey Writers): Proposes that the Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames make a 2-for-1 trade that would include Jake Virtanen and Adam Gaudette going to Southern Alberta in exchange for Sam Bennett.
- NHLTradeRumors.me: Says the Florida Panthers and Vegas Golden Knights are working on a deal that could see Brett Connolly going to Sin City.
- “The Golden Knights are said to be showing interest in acquiring Connolly, but a deal will not be completed until Alex Pietrangelo is back in the line-up.”
